The Lean and Mean Trio (LMT) has roots that run deep with bass player/vocals, Ray Zirkel, and drummer/vocals, Phil Levine, who have performed together over 50 years, including for the Town of Ramapo Summer Traveling Theater.   The two Rockland County friends continue to play together in local bands, but recently this dynamic rhythm section joined together with the talented guitarist/vocalist, Bill Bishop, to create a musical trio that enjoys jamming to covers and originals.  Bill has played music in Westchester, NYC, and New England for over 50  years in various bands and genres. Bill and Phil have been making music together for over seven years in a variety of band configurations, but with LMT the three Westchester County rockers have solidified their sound with music that incorporates their love of classic 60s through modern day rock tunes…along with blues and jam band grooves. You never know what surprises the boys will share with their fans, but you will NEVER be disappointed.
